Our decks are a a friendly set of questions that have been used in used in Death Cafe’s, college classrooms, training spaces, therapy spaces, and community gatherings as a way to open conversations that are often hard to start but deeply meaningful once they do.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT THAN OTHER DECKS
We don’t try to trick anyone into talking about end of life decisions. We’re about opening up the conversation and curiosity so that those discussions become easy to access and flow naturally.
We offer a simple structure for exploring curiosity, storytelling, and connection. No complicated rules to learn. In fact, we provide multiple ways to play on our rules page.
We’re here to make the conversation easy and natural. Our questions have been carefully crafted and balanced to provide groups a feeling of play as well as safety.
We’re not clinical, “therapytalk”, or dry training material. We’re a conversation tool that helps people talk more naturally about life, death, and everything in between without feeling put on the spot.
Though our questions are often playful, they’re also quite thoughtful. Developed by a grief therapist, every question, including our trivia, was included only if we saw the potential to lead to more conversations about death and dying.
If you’re interested in bringing Morbid Curiosity into your classroom, program, or organization, we’d love to hear from you.
